Let us take you from Valencia and bring you to Utiel-Requena, two small villages in the mountains where great wines are made. Utiel-Requena is quickly gaining traction in both Spain as internationally for the increasing quality of wines made here. During this tour you will find out how, where and which grapes are grown here, how wine is made and how the wine is bottled. You will meet the winemakers, visit the vineyards and see where the wine is eventually made and stored. And don’t forget the most important part: Taste some of the great wines that this winery offers you, in the middle of the vineyards!

You will meet your local host at Horchateria Santa Catalina. The map shows you the exact location where to go before meeting your local host. If you prefer, you can always contact your host and ask him/her to pick you up from your hotel or appartment, free of charge!

Meet up in Valencia – From here, your local host will bring you to Requena and will show you some great places on the way!

Arrival at the winery – After arriving at the winery, you will be taken for a nice tour through the vineyards and winery, where you will see the total process from grape to glass!

Wine tasting time! – Taste some great wines made in the winery where you are standing in!

Optional: Visit ancient wine caves – Visit the centre of Requena, where we will visit medieval caves where wine, olive oils and cereals were originally stored in large clay jars!

Lunch in Requena – Go for a nice lunch in Requena with more wine!

Valencia – After all these new experiences and wines, your host will bring you back to Valencia!
