The meeting point and route
You will meet your local host in front of Horchateria Santa Catalina. The map shows you the exact location where to go to before meeting him/her.
Your local host will bring you to the following places:
Artesanal olives – As if they come right from the trees!
Freshest fish of Valencia – Enjoy some seafood, straight from the sea, depending on the season!
The best place for Spanish ham and cheese – Pamper yourself and your taste buds with the famous acorn fed Iberico ham and Spanish cured cheeses.
Olive oil tasting! – Try different olive oils, all of high quality, but all with a different taste!
The best local wines in Valencia! – The ham and cheese are nice, but even nicer when paired with some unique local wines!

Everything was DELICIOUS and INFORMATIVE!
We did the Mercado Central wine tasting + food tour and it was lovely. Our guide, Maria, new many of the vendors and had great relationships with them which allowed for a pretty flawless experience. Some of us weren’t able to eat meat, but we pre-planned this and still had lots of options for our snacks. Our group was a bit on the larger side (we were on a company trip) so it was a little hard to navigate on a crowded Saturday, but Maria handled most things herself and brought the items to us in a lesser-crowded area of the Mercado, and made sure we stayed together as a group everywhere she took us. We ate, drank, and learned a ton about the history of Valencia, as well as the food and wine culture. It was a day to remember and I would 100% take my group again. Jesper (who I think is the owner) is a super nice guy to work with as well. It was flawless and we all had a great time.
What an amazing experience - Mercado central
Visited Valencia for 5 days and we wanted to do something different than the usual tours. Luckily we found MoreValencia. Our tour guide was really friendly and knew a lot about the local culture, food, wine and people.
Best stop was where we had the incredibly good Iberico Jambon. Big recommendation! Thanks guys!
